The role focuses on developing an end-to-end on-ground payments ecosystem using JazzCash mobile wallets, expanding merchant acceptance points, and enhancing the merchant-to-distributor (M2D) payment network.


Key Responsibilities

As the Business Development Manager – JazzCash, the role involves spearheading the development of an on-ground payments ecosystem by establishing a strong network of JazzCash payment acceptance points and enhancing merchant-to-distributor (M2D) payment channels. The position focuses on driving strategic business expansion by identifying new market segments and implementing effective growth strategies to widen business reach. It requires conducting comprehensive market analysis to identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities, followed by proposing innovative solutions. Leading, coaching, and motivating the sales team to achieve monthly targets while aligning with broader organizational goals is a key responsibility. The role also emphasizes relationship management, fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders, clients, and strategic partners. Continuous performance monitoring is essential, involving KPI tracking, result analysis, and providing regular insights to management. Additionally, the manager must oversee training and development initiatives to boost team capabilities, while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency in line with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.


Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Business Development Manager – JazzCash position should hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, with a Master’s degree being preferred. They must bring a minimum of five years’ experience in business development, strategic planning, or sales management, ideally within FMCG, telecommunications, or related industries. A strong background in distribution management and stakeholder engagement is essential. In terms of competencies, the role requires a proven track record in strategic business expansion, coupled with exceptional leadership and team management skills. The candidate should possess excellent decision-making and planning abilities, outstanding communication and relationship-building capabilities, and strong analytical skills to support data-driven decision-making.
